Keep in mind that there are a number of twists and turns in order to get around with so many terminals in a relatively small space. Meanwhile, if there are lots of ships in port, navigating can be stressful. It might be helpful to have one person navigate so the driver can focus on the road. If you want reassurance that you will have parking, choose privately run lots such as Park By The Ports, located in Dania Beach, where the Fort Lauderdale airport is; it's right next to the cruise port.

While these lots aren’t as convenient as parking right at the ship, they have the advantage of being cheaper. Plus, the lots will have shuttles to take you right to the ship. So if you don’t need to park right at the ship and don’t mind an extra 10 minutes to get to the ship, you can save significantly.
